Moving along in flow motion . . .

Are you waiting for miracles or ripening them?

Both "waiting" and "ripening" can look like periods of time with no specific external engagement.
However "ripening" is a very different internal state that generates very different results.

Ripening is an internal engagement with a vision, inside a currently active commitment to its fulfillment.
Waiting is an internal disengagement with a vision, inside a currently inactive commitment to its fulfillment.

Ripening listens for and responds to unimagined, unforseen, unplanned, and even unwanted whispers of possibility.
Waiting only listens for and responds to specific signals of planned, preferred events in time.

Ripening tracks development and listens for opportunities for action.
Waiting tunes out development and misses opportunities for action.

Ripening correlates fulfillment with current commitment.
Waiting correlates fulfillment with current action.

Ripening claims responsibility for each passing moment.
Waiting gives up responsibility for each passing moment.

Ripening is a clearing for fulfillment.
Waiting is a clearing for disappearance.

Ripening experiences the joy of fulfillment.
Waiting experiences the anxiety of powerlessness.

Ripening generates miracles.
Waiting generates incompletions.

Are you waiting for miracles or ripening them?
